Great Effort on Saturday at Murarrie

Hi Team,

Great efforts out at Murarrie on Saturday. Shaun O'Brien makes it 3 1st Places on the trot and with the help of Dave, Gilbert and Toby, made it look easy. B-grade had an excellent performance and it was good to see us working with our affilliate and x-sponsor Tom from Fit to Excel. Shane Bedford was pulled by Tom into a break and stayed away until the last lap. Nick George lead out Aiden however didn't have the legs on the day. In B1 Toddy soldiered on for his umpteenth podium however in Gino's eyes, not enough to go through to B. In C-grade, my solo breakaway only lasted half a lap as the peleton overestimated my capability, and shut me down, again. Jason and Matt laboured at the front trying to get away however it came down to a sprint finish. Matt Chew missed the correct wheel but recovered to finish a strong 2nd place. A big congrats to Matt who has been pushed into B1 next week. Nicci Heath on her own , pulled out a HUGE 3rd place without a leadout.

We are going to start to work in some regular sessions back on the track with Gilly. A lot of us need to work on attentiveness, skill and teamwork. Concentrating on these elements will make sure that we maximise our potential as a team and individuals. You will be surprised!
This is something we can accellerate through these sessions. Lets make a big effort all to be there on Thursday.
