My quick crash report,
on the last lap just about to start the last climb the pace was super hot when some clown caused a crash 3 wheels infront of me..
I almost skidded to a stop in time when a guy hit me from behind and I ended up in the pile of bikes and body's. lucky my speed was slow so no major skin off.. doing 50+kph only sec's earlier so im thankful
I felt so damm good all race and was mentally playing the final few courners in my mind, I picked my bike up ready to catch up but my hand hurt badly when on the handle bars so i put the bike down and lay under the tree for a while:(
end result is a broken hand bone (4th finger) its all in place so no cast or op required, just taped up fingers. lots of ice.
should heal in 3-4 weeks and im allowed to do anything that the symptoms 'allow'
ill be on the computrainer end of this week and hopefully riding next weekend.
Im not upset about the hand at all not going to miss anything important, im just pissed that I had to smashfest the 50k's only to miss out on contesting the final few k's when i was in such good form.
What bucks party ???
