Muzz B grade 27/3

Was a great result for Data3, a fast race averaged just under 43. a large field of over 40 there was some good prize money up for grabs.
Group was together for the prime and I decided to test my non sprinting legs, elbowed my way into the UQ train and won from 2nd wheel around the last corner.. hit the front at the bottom of the hill and held everyone out into the slight head wind. Was pretty stoked as i know a lot of the good b grade sprinters had a dig at it.
With about 3 laps to go Toddy did an epic death pull to tow Jason into a 2 man break that was 15 secs up the road, on the last lap of the race Jason was looking strong up ahead, and this was great as it took the pressure off us to do none of the lead out work and Damon and I lined up for the sprint.
Last lap the Peloton was lead out by a UQ rider, Damon 2nd wheel, UQ rider, Me 4th, just before the last corner we were just about to catch the breakaway Damon felt the UQ lead out rider slowing and started the sprint before the corner and lead all the way to the line winning by a tyre width... awesome long sprint mate (are you doing secret training?)
I was 3rd around the last bend and finished 3rd by a bike length.
Damon got $100 for the win. I scooped $70 with the Prime + 3rd
