Stage 3
With the limited Internet access out here, raced stage 2 with no course profile fortunately one of sarah's most trusted employees Josh got on cycling profiles and sent me the details and some suggestions "climb like schleck"
Today was the longest stage of the tour with 4 significant climbs the longest 4,8k with 2.5k@9% Thinking of you cootha
Got over the climb in the 2nd group and about 30th place which was much more successful than yesterday and descended through some beautiful rain forests at Mach 10 (85kph) I was sure we were making good time until the race leaders domestics (gennisis) were leading the chase group from behind at Mach 20, when they caught us we were on a small climb and we tacked onto the back of the chase group to make 50 of us absolutely flying throughthe Forrest on these narrow forestry roads, got a time gap the lead group of 15 were which was 2 mins up the road. We must have closed this in about 15mins, talk about feeling alive! We were boosting along.
It was all together for the final 50k and the only hard part was the final 5k which were undulating and all of a sudden every idiot becomes a climber/sprinter and the pace was very high, lucky speed equals a short time and before I could cough the last of my seagulls out, was under the finish banner on ST as the leaders
Giddy up
Distance: 136k
