As 2010 draws to a close as well of an extended 18 month sponsorship period we would like to take this opportunity to thank our D3CSRT2010 sponsors for their contribution. Sponsorship is invaluable to out teams’ existence. In particular:

New Name 2011
On behalf of Data#3 Race Team Committee, I am pleased and proud to announce that in 2011 our Team name is.... Data#3 Cisco Systems Racing Team
Cisco Systems is one of Data#3’s key parnters and one of the world’s largest Technology Companies. They represent Solutions in Borderless Networks, Unified Communications, Video and Collaboration and Data Centre Virtualisation and one of the most successful technology innovators in the world.
Just like Data#3, Cisco Queensland has grown into an office with over 50 staff and embraced cycling. This is their first collective ‘plunge’ into being part of the collective momentum we have created around cycling in ICT. Please make Scott Reid and their team welcome.
Sponsorship Update
We are currently finalising 2011 financial and equipment sponsors this week and are still looking for a ‘butt’ sponsor. We appreciate the effort so far from our members in finding sponsorship. Please let me know if you are interested, or know anyone who would be interested in sponsorship (jersey or equipment) and I will send a proposal. We need to lock this down as our design work recommences next week.
Kit Update
Kit is anticipated for mid January. As the supplier and designs are finalised we will be collating numbers and sizes. I will send an email once we are ready to take orders and pricing structure. As our new sponsorship cycle will be calendar year, we will be ordering winter gear as well in the initial run. Additional items for purchase this year will include team jacket, polo, knee warmers, shoe covers. For those of you that are squeezing the life out of the 2009/10 kit apologies. The committee acknowledges the fact that other kit may need to be worn to avoid public and personal disasters!
Team Update
I am pleased to announce that we will be expanding our program in 2011 with the addition of a compact Men’s A Masters Team supporting a base of 8 of A-grade riders. We will be extending our NRS involvement and taking aim at improving our 2010 3rd in QLD Team Series. Our B/C graders and Women will be also blessed by a large number of D3 Riders entering into the world of corporate racing.
