Hey D3 Team,
Well today we had a small but committed C Grade team turned up for the Muzza race, including: Mark, Aaron, Olly, and myself. The ride from Milton did not start well, as we all felt sluggish, and it was like we were swimming through the air. Well the race started slowly, and we all stayed together until about 5 laps before the finish (this was great). Olly was looking good so he moved to the front to get ready for the sprint. The bunch left him at the front for a lap and this took some gas out of his legs, but his hard work kept me out of the wind (so thanks mate). Then Aaron took a turn on the front, but it was the second last lap, and by the time it was bell lap he could not grab my wheel. Great work Aaron this was your second ever race, and you were up at the front on the last lap. Also, Mark had the best seat in the house, he was in the middle of the pack taking in the view. Now I got to the third wheel by the last corner, the rider on the front slowed with 200m to go. I waited until 100m mark, and moved to the sheltered side of the wind and took the win.
Thanks team for your help, I will look to do the same soon.
