Lined up again with 60 in the field. Feeling pretty good with a few days off due to the rain. A sunny day however the wind wasup with a headwind in the main straight. First few laps pretty hectic but held my spot in the top 15. There were several attempts at breakaways however the wind and a strong chase by the main field stopped them within the lap.
The bunch all together for the prime so decided to sit in and savemyself for the end.
At40 mins Masters A caught us so we were neutral for a lap. As we resumed 3 laps to go was sititing 10th in the train. 2 laps to go sititng 5th. On the bell still in 5th but QSM had other ideas hitting the field with 2 corners to go, now sitting 2nd with QSM ridier pulling off coming into the 2nd last corner opened up but head wind pretty strong and got swamped a bit to the line.
Crossed in 8th but pretty happy with my race overall.
Race won by Fusion cycles yellow jersey from last week. Very close finish. Gutsy win.
