Hi from the Tour

Hi Guys

It is great to hear all the results from back home. Just to reinforce Andrews comments, it is always best to go into races with a plan. We dont really want to see what happen to Astana when you attack your own team mates and also against the teams orders!! The next 2 weeks of the tour will be interesting on how Astana work together. At this stage simple is best and dont be afraid to try new things. See what works and what areas we can improve on. The most important thing is to enjoy your racing and remember to have fun! The best thing of being in a team is that everyone shares in the results and everyone can contribute.

The riding over here has been great, we are just getting warmed up with some big rides coming in the next 2 weeks. The other day we rode the Team Time Trial course before the pro headed out to smash themselves around the course. It is a buzz to be riding around and you hear the sound of a disk wheel coming Check out the attached photo, Team Saxo Banl out for an easy roll around the course at about 25KPH nice and easy.

Chat soon Gilly
