Team Launch Looking forward to the team launch on Thursday. See you there. Please let me know if you would like an invite resent. QTS – Round 1 Sunday 28th March marked Round 1 of 7 of the Queensland Team Series which comprised of an Individual Time Trial and an exciting 6-man Team Time Trial. Competing this year in each race will be 17 teams of 6 riders are rostered for each ride. This year, Data#3 Cisco Capilano have the capability to enter two teams each focussed on different objectives. We call these the YELLOW (Capilano Honey) & GREEN (Data#3 Cisco) Teams. There were some very strong individual performances in the ITT with David Brown taking out 4th and Reuben Donati finishing 9th. In the TTT the times were pretty tight and losing 3 riders through misfortune really affected the Green Teams’ output and end-ranking. At the end of the day that ranking was transitioned into Points as follows.
We definitely have some work to do and our strengths on the road should come out in Round 2 and 3 where some of the roads point to the heavens. QTS – Round 2 QTS Round 2 hits the Road and Hills at Beaudesert on Sunday at 10am. Both teams are well suited to the couse and we should see some action in GC category. Reuben Donati is sitting in 2nd place in junior category and 9th overall and David Brown 4th overall. http://www.cyclesportnews.com/aus/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=9387&Itemid=48 |
